FREEBIES and organizational tips for your classroom!

Hi, friends!

Today I want to share some FREEBIES with you that I have been finding, as well as some fun organizational ideas for your classroom. Does anyone else feel like they're already in crunch time?! I just started putting dates on my calendar, and I feel like I barely have a summer left and I  REALLY
need to get busy on several projects. I am moving classrooms this year, so I feel like I am starting from scratch again. I am excited to share my classroom with you once I begin, though!

Anyway, let's jump right in! The first one is a FREE listening center download, using QR codes. Students scan the corresponding QR code with their iPad and it will play a recorded version of the book that they have selected. This Teachers Pay Teachers seller is looking for FEEDBACK on this product, so please make sure that you leave her some. I also read in the feedback comments that she uses a headphone splitter so that multiple students can listen at once. I know my kiddos love to scan QR codes, so I am looking forward to using this!

Next is a 53 page guide to setting up procedures in your classroom. This is amazing!! Kristen gives you TONS of things to think about when you're organizing your classroom. She also includes posters and tips and tricks that have worked for her in her classroom. Whether you're a seasoned teacher or just starting out, this is a great resource! It really made me conscious of not assuming that my kiddos know my expectations, and more aware that they need me to show them the way.

Lastly, I wanted to share a link to free handwriting printables that would be great for a beginning of the year assessment. The Measured Mom labels these as handwriting practice for preschoolers, but if you're like me you will have a decent handful of kiddos coming in that will not have any (or very little) letter recognition.

If you love organization like I do, you will love this link!! There are some great ideas, and I am always looking for a more efficient way to do something.

Do you guys ever use Scholastic for lessons or inspiration? I don't use them as a resource enough and that's on my to-do list this year! Here are Scholastic's tips to an organized classroom.

I'm getting really crafty over here this weekend, so I hope to have lots of fun to share with you for Monday Made It!

cheers!
Kelley
